As part of our Social Outreach and Advocacy ministry, parishioners at San Luis Rey have come together to feed the poor in our Oceanside community through bi-weekly meal preparation and restaurant-style serving at a local homeless shelter, Bread of Life. Parishioners can join one of our “Serving Teams” that sets up a unique menu and delegates parts of the meal for each member to bring. 45-60 individuals (most of whom stay at Bread of Life for the night) are served a delicious hot meal. Volunteers are always welcomed to join!
