Fiesta de San Luis Rey: We want to thank all the ministries and communities, volunteers, bakers, and all those who participated to make our Fiesta de San Luis Rey a beautiful celebration. Special Collection for Haiti: Next weekend on September 4th and 5th at all masses there will be a special collection for the humanitarian effort and the recovery of the church in Haiti. Click here to donate. We appreciate your generosity. Please pray for the people of Haiti and their families as they recover from this devastating earthquake.

Care for Creation: Our Parish Mission Statement, found on the front page of the bulletin, includes care for creation. This means that caring for creation is one of our top priorities. Therefore, we invite you to learn more by attending a special Soup and Study on Friday, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in St. Francis Hall. Father Emmett Farrell of the Diocese of San Diego will share with us the realistic steps we can take in our lives to make a difference in caring for the Earth. Labor Day Holiday Closing: The Parish Office will be closed this coming Saturday, September 4, due to the Labor Day Holiday. But we will have the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 9:00 a.m. in the Serra Garden.

Parish Ministry Leaders Meeting: All Parish Ministry leaders are encouraged to attend the Ministry Leaders meeting on Saturday, September 11 at Serra Center from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. We are asking leaders to please RSVP for this meeting. There are more details in the parish bulletin.

Concert by Jon Carlo: We invite you to join us for an evening of inspiring music in Spanish by Jon Carlo. His concert on Saturday, October 2nd will be held here at the Serra Center. Tickets are on sale after Mass or at the Parish Office on weekdays. The cost is $ 15 per person (in advance), and $ 20 at the door, please no children under 12 years old, they will need to wear their masks.
