1. We thank everyone for wearing masks once again. Masks are now required in all Parish indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. If you have forgotten yours, please remember to bring it next weekend.
2. We will not have Saturday Reconciliation this coming Saturday, the 21st. You may make an appointment during the week by calling the Parish Office.
3. We are calling on our Parish bakers to help donate items for our Feast of San Luis Rey celebration on Friday, August 27th. If you are able to donate baked goods, please see the bulletin for drop off details.
4. We will have a special Soup and Study event to kick off the Season of Creation on Thursday, September 2nd, at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Hall. Fr. Emmet Farrell, the director of the Creation Care Ministry of the Diocese of San Diego, will speak of how we can follow Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si, and help care for creation. 5. Our Eucharistic Ministers are in need of volunteers to assist with giving communion. If you are looking for a way to deepen your spirituality and get closer to our Lord, please consider joining our wonderful and beautiful ministry. Ministers are available outside of Mass to accept sign-ups and to offer more information. Training session details are also available in the bulletin.
