1. Religious Education registration for formation and sacramental preparation ends next Friday, the 27th. Please click here or see the bulletin for details on the registration process. If you intend to register your child, please do so before this deadline.
2. This Friday, we celebrate the Feast of San Luis Rey with a multicultural Mass at 5:30 p.m. outside of the Mission Church, followed by the procession with the saint and multicultural performances. We ask that you park in the Parish and Serra Center Parking, and please bring your lawn chairs for outdoor seating, click here for more details, or check the map in the bulletin.
3. For this event of the feast, we are asking for home baked goods, individually wrapped for safety precautions. If you are able to donate baked goods, please see the bulletin for drop off details.
4. Our next Soup and Study will be on Thursday, September 2nd, at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Hall wit h Fr. Emmet Farrell, the director of the Creation Care Ministry of the Diocese of San Diego. RSVP by calling 760-757-3250 or emailing the Parish Office at mailto:office@sanluisreyparish.org.
5. Our Eucharistic Ministers are in need of volunteers to assist with giving communion. Ministers are available outside of Mass to accept sign-ups and to offer more information. Training session details are also available in the bulletin.
6. All heads of Parish Ministries, you are encouraged to attend the Heads of Ministry meeting on Saturday, September 11th in the Serra Center. From 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. More information will be available in next weekend’s bulletin.
