On Thursday, November 12, Angel Ibarra and the Social Outreach Department received the Nonprofit Partner Hero Award from the North County Food Bank on behalf of the Mission San Luis Rey Parish Social Outreach team. Angel was honored virtually at the 2020 Community Champion Awards: A Salute to our COVID-19 Heroes. This award honors the individuals, companies, organizations, and volunteers who have demonstrated outstanding support for the North County Food Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused skyrocketing demand for hunger-relief services.

The Loretto House Food Pantry has been designated a COVID -19 Super Pantry, and is open to the public for emergency food assistance Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm. Contactless drive-up or Amazon Wish List donations appreciated. For information, call Angel Ibarra 760-547-0708
