November 10th at 9am starting at the Mission San Luis Rey Parish Serra Center
Pope Francis launched the ‘Share the Journey’ campaign to transform the culture of indifference that exists about the 65 million migrants and refugees fleeing violence, extreme poverty, and injustice – to a culture of encounter.
Fr. Vince Mesi, OFM, pastor of Mission San Luis Rey Parish, Bishop Dolan of the Diocese of San Diego, along with the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops), CRS (Catholic Relief Services), CCUSA (Catholic Charities USA), and Caritas Internationalis invites us to Share the Journey.
Our event for the Diocese of San Diego will be:
▪ What: A gathering with inspirational talks, including by Bishop Dolan, an Eucharistic procession/pilgrimage on the Mission grounds, and a concluding prayer & refection in front of the historic Old Mission San Luis Rey.
▪ Where: Starting at Mission San Luis Rey Parish Serra Center located at 4070 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92057 – just east of the historic Old Mission.
▪ When: Saturday, 11/10/18 from 9am-Noon. Coffee & Refreshments provided.
▪ Why: To answer the Pope’s call to walk with our brothers and sisters who are migrants and refugees in solidarity and love – to Share the Journey.
