Welcome to Art & Environment Ministry!
The Art & Environment Ministry at Mission San Luis Rey Parish works to create worship spaces that are prayerful, inspirational, and reflective of the liturgical seasons and special feast days. Through banners, flowers, and artistic decorations, this ministry enhances the sacred atmosphere of the Old Mission, the Serra Center, and the Parish Chapel. It is a rewarding opportunity to serve our faith community by bringing beauty, reverence, and the spirit of celebration to our liturgical life.
Through collaborative formation and hands-on service, members of the Art & Environment Ministry deepen their understanding of the liturgical seasons and develop their creative gifts. Inspired by the Franciscan spirit of joy and simplicity, they offer their talents to create sacred spaces where the beauty of God’s presence can be seen and felt by all.
