Welcome to Baptism Ministry!
The Baptism Ministry at Mission San Luis Rey Parish welcomes families as they prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. This ministry supports parents and godparents in understanding the joys and responsibilities of raising their children in the Catholic faith. Volunteers inspire families to deepen their relationship with God and the Church, helping them create homes rooted in tenderness, forgiveness, respect, and fidelity.
Through formation and pastoral accompaniment, members of the Baptism Ministry embody the spirit of St. Francis by welcoming families with compassion, courage, and joy. They nurture the seeds of faith in young families, walking alongside them as they begin a beautiful, lifelong collaboration with God.
