The Grief Support Ministry at Mission San Luis Rey Parish accompanies those who are mourning by offering a safe and compassionate space to share their experiences, express emotions, and seek healing through the Catholic faith. This ministry strives to provide hope and strength for living, helping participants find meaning in their grief and journey toward reconciliation, grounded in communal support and God’s unfailing love.
With hearts shaped by the Franciscan spirit of compassion and presence, members of the Grief Support Ministry offer prayerful listening, encouragement, and solidarity. Through ongoing formation and personal reflection, they serve as instruments of God’s comfort, helping others to discover light and hope even amid the sorrow of loss.
