The Ministry to Military Service Members at Mission San Luis Rey Parish seeks to honor, accompany, and uplift those who serve our country and their families. With deep appreciation for their sacrifices, this ministry offers spiritual support, connection, and prayerful outreach—helping military members and veterans find a place of welcome, peace, and friendship within our parish community.
We recognize that military life brings unique challenges, and our mission is to remain faithful to our servicemen and women by walking with them in faith, providing resources, and building meaningful relationships rooted in Christ.
Inspired by the Franciscan charism of peace and reconciliation, this ministry extends a hand of support to those carrying the burdens of deployment, reintegration, and transition. Through prayer, listening, and community, we strive to be a visible sign of God’s care and comfort for those who serve and their loved ones.
