We celebrate All Saints and All Souls because we believe that love is stronger than death.
These sacred days invite us to remember those who have gone before us, celebrate those who now rejoice in God’s presence, and pray for those still journeying toward the fullness of eternal life.
They remind us that our faith is not simply about how we live today, but about the eternal life God promises us through Jesus Christ.
All Saints’ Day reminds us of where we hope to go. All Souls’ Day reminds us to pray for those who have gone before us.
And both remind us that, in Christ, we are never truly separated from those we love.
