This weekend we will begin our participation in the Annual Catholic Appeal. We will hear messages of how this important appeal aids many ministries in our Diocese, including our own Social Outreach programs, Faith Formation, and clergy formation and retirement. Let us reflect this week on the gifts we can give to help live out our faith.

This coming Monday, February 13th continues our free program: Forming Missionary Disciples. This is the second of two scripture classes on the Introduction to the Bible, and the first program of our year-long experience to enrich our faith community. Click here to signup. The entire calendar of the program can be found in the bulletin. Next up will be reflections during our Friday Stations of the Cross during Lent.

The Parish Center will begin construction work to install a sprinkler system this week, sponsored by the school that rents our facilities. As the work continues throughout the building, it may affect Masses, meetings, and classes. We ask for your understanding of changes in locations or cancellations during this time.

Next weekend, Saturday, February 18th, and Sunday, February 19th, there will be a second collection to help the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

The Parish Office will be closed on Saturday, February 18th, due to President’s Day. Have a happy and blessed day!

The schedules for upcoming Communal Reconciliations and for Ash Wednesday are in the bulletin. Our Saturday Reconciliations will be on pause during Lent.

This Thursday, the 16th, is our Friendship Café: Married Couples, dealing with Diversity. You are invited to come, listen and share in the Parish Dining Room at 7 pm.

Cardinal McElroy has shared a letter regarding updates for abuse victims and lawsuits. Click here for a copy of the letter.
