Next Saturday, the 24th, we will celebrate with our Filipino Community, San Lorenzo Ruiz, at the 4:00 p.m. Mass. One of the readings and music will be in Tagalog, and translations will be provided on the screen. A potluck reception and live music will follow in the St. Michael’s Courtyard. Please bring a dish to share for the potluck.
Next Sunday, our Youth Mass returns to the Sunday, 5 p.m. Mass; with our Youth Ministry serving in the choir and other liturgical ministries. We invite all of our Parish youth to attend.
On the weekend of October 1st and 2nd, we will celebrate St. Francis’ Feast Day in place of the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time. We will print the readings we will use in next weekend’s bulletin and online for those who would like to have them for the Mass.
Please welcome Deacon Salvador Mejia, our newly ordained transitional deacon. Click here for his biography and more information on our parish staff. Please keep Deacon Sal in your prayers as he begins his diaconate ministry in our Parish.
Welcome to parishioners coming back after being away for some time, to new parishioners, and to those visiting us today. Are you new to our parish? Please click here for a brochure with some information about our parish community.
If you recall a few months ago, we, and all parishes throughout the Diocese, under the direction of Pope Francis, held a Synod to ask for parishioners’ opinions on the direction of the Church. To follow this event, the Diocese has asked us to make this survey link available on our website or sent via Flocknote on September 6th. Please be sure to participate in this important survey.
Congratulations to all those celebrating birthdays! You can find their names and those we are praying for this week in our parish bulletin.
