We are happy to report that the long-awaited St. Francis Hall Renovation project has completed the plan check review and approval process from the City of Oceanside. The approval process took longer than anticipated due to the backlog of projects in the City’s queue. Construction contracts have been drawn and bridge funding has been secured from the Diocese. The Hall has been stripped of its equipment and all furnishings and storage items have been removed. Construction fences will soon be erected and construction activity will begin immediately following the start of the new year.
Our General Contractor, DM Building, estimates a five to six month construction period. The renovation promises to be a significant transformation of St. Francis Hall. We look forward to hosting even more successful events, receptions, dinners, and festivals and creating lasting memories in a beautified Hall. We will continue to provide updates in the bulletin in the months to come.
