You will see a few changes at Masses this weekend at Mission San Luis Rey Parish. Out of an abundance of caution in the wake of the coronavirus:

1. The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego has asked that parishes suspend the practice of sharing Communion via cup.
2. Distributing the Eucharist will continue to be done so by hand.
3. Please be prudent during the Sign of Peace; a smile is a gesture of welcome and peace.
4. If you or a family member or a child don’t feel well or have a cold, please know that if you have to miss Mass due to illness, then your Sunday obligation is dispensed.
5. If you cannot attend Mass due to illness, please join us online at the 10:00 am or 12:00 noon (Spanish) masses. Just go to the website and click on the LIVESTREAM button. Join us for the Liturgy of the Word and a beautiful homily from our parish priests.
6. Please pray for the sick. Your prayers are an important part of the recovery of the sick members of our parish family and community.
