| Peace and all good! Today, one of the Franciscan Friars who lives at the Mission, but who does not work at nor come to the Parish, has tested positive for COVID-19. Our Provincial, Fr. David Gaa, OFM, and our Franciscan Order have protocols and safeguards in place to protect members of our community, the Mission and Parish communities in this situation. All friars will be tested before returning to their duties. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, the Parish Offices and the Loretto House Food Pantry will be closed until next week. The morning Masses at 7:30 am in the Parish Chapel have also been canceled through Friday. Weekend masses for July 11 and July 12 have also been canceled. Our First Communion Mass will take place tonight on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, and on Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10 with a visiting priest presiding. The rest of our First Communion Masses may have to be postponed. Please pray for our Franciscan Brothers and the health and safety of all members of our parish and Mission Community.
