Actualización Importante / Dear Parish Family: Fr. Oscar has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be presiding at any masses this weekend. He is isolated at home. Fr. Sam took a COVID self-test last night and it was negative. Fr. Alberto is continuing to recover from a broken ankle. Please pray for all of our parishioners, priests, brothers, Mission and Parish staff, and ministers who are sick at home this week.

Masses will continue inside Serra Center, the Parish Chapel, and the Old Mission per our current schedule. Saturday Reconciliation has been canceled until further notice. Appointments are possible by calling the Parish Office. All parish in-person meetings and Religious Education meetings and classes at the parish center have been canceled until February 15, 2022. If you are involved with one of our parish programs, please keep an eye open for an email with instructions from your group leader.

If you feel sick, please stay at home. People experiencing COVID symptoms but are unable to get tested should assume they have COVID and follow CDC guidelines for self-isolation. Please join our community in worship online at our parish YouTube channel. Masses are live-streamed and recorded at 10 am and 12 (link)

Masking Requirements and Social Distancing: Masks are required for all individuals in all indoor public settings, regardless of their vaccination status from December 15, 2021, through February 15, 2022 [surgical masks or higher-level respirators (e.g., N95s, KN95s, KF94s) with good fit are recommended]. This requirement will be updated as CDPH continues to assess conditions on an ongoing basis.

For additional information on types of masks, the most effective masks, and ensuring a well-fitted mask, here is a link to CDPH Get the Most out of Masking and CDPH Masking Guidance.

We thank you for observing these rules as we work together to protect and care for all of our parish families.

Peace and All Good
