Many thanks to all of you who have donated to the parish food pantry! In the month of January, we received a total of 506 lbs of donated food from parishioners. Your generous donations are an essential part of our outreach ministry and provide much-needed support to the hungry of our local community.
Our February “Food of the Month” is peanut butter. We welcome – and need – all kinds of non-perishable food items, but we are focusing on the staple of peanut butter for the upcoming month. This nutritious and versatile item is a favorite of the people we serve, young and old alike, and we have difficulty keeping up with the need! Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. As always, please leave your food donations in the baskets on the table near the front entrance of the Serra Center. You may also drop them by Loretto House Tuesday-Saturday, 8 am-4 pm. (Note: We can no longer accept clothing donations.) Once again, thank you for your love and generosity.
May God bless you abundantly! — Bro. Jeff Shackleton, OFM
