Parish Posadas (In Spanish)

Posadas

PARISH POSADAS are celebrated each evening. The posadas re‐enact Mary and Joseph’s difficult journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of shelter; in Spanish, the word means “lodging.”

Join us beginning Wed., Dec. 16 thru Wed., Dec. 23 (In Spanish) 6:30 p.m.—in St. Michael’s Courtyard.

(December 19 & 20 will celebrate with regular weekend Spanish Masses)

Each evening begins with the rosary at 6:30 p.m. followed by traditional posada caroling. Due to COVID safety measures, Christmas Goodie Bags will be distributed by drive‐thru to children in place of piñatas.
