“Solidarity means much more than engaging in sporadic acts of generosity. It means thinking and acting in terms of community” (Fratelli tutti, 116).
Religious freedom allows the Church, and all religious communities, to live out their faith in public and to serve the good of all. Beginning with June 22, the feast of Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher, our Catholic Bishops invited us to pray, reflect, and act to promote religious freedom. Areas of focus include:
- Adoption and Foster Care
- Catholic Social Services During the Pandemic
- The Equality Act
- Church Vandalism
- Catholics in Nicaragua
- Conscience Rights for Medical Professionals
- Christians in Iraq
- Free Speech
You’re invited to reflect-pray-act by clicking on any of the links above. Religious Freedom Week ends June 29, but these links are available for reflection and prayer when you are.
