Peace and all good! As you may know, yesterday, Governor Newsom announced a suspension of religious services held inside. This new order will take effect as of 12 AM on WEDNESDAY, July 15. This means there will be no in person masses celebrated inside Serra Center or the Chapel at the parish this coming week or weekend until further notice.
We are exploring the possibility of outdoor masses in St. Michael’s Courtyard. Fr. Sam and I are blessed to have just received our test results. They were negative for the virus, so we will both be available to serve at masses this weekend. Please keep an eye on our website, social media, and YouTube channel for live and / or recorded liturgies for the weekend. Don’t forget to view our daily reflections on Facebook.
As an essential service, the parish offices will remain open to care for our parish family. The Loretto House Food Pantry will continue to be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm.
Your continued support of the parish financially and through prayer are essential and greatly appreciated. Please continue to pray for our Franciscan Brothers and the health and safety of all members of our parish and Mission Community. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me or give me a call.
