Venerable Henriette Delille founded the Sisters of the Holy Family in New Orleans.
Servant of God, Mother Mary Lange, founded the Oblate Sisters of Providence, which offered free education to the children of Caribbean immigrants and free African Americans.
Servant of God Julia Greeley is known as the “Angel of Charity” in Denver because of her help to countless families in poverty.
Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman F.S.P.A. promoted intercultural awareness, breaking down racial and cultural barriers among Catholics.
