  2. Next weekend we will begin our participation in the Annual Catholic Appeal. We will hear messages of how this important appeal aids so many ministries in our Diocese and our parish, including our Social Outreach programs, Faith Formation, as well as clergy formation and support. Here’s a page with more information. Let us reflect this week on the gifts we can give to help live our mission.
  3. Don’t forget, April 29th, we will welcome Jesse Manibusan, renowned singer and composer — whose songs you’ll often hear during Mass — for a night of music, story-telling, and humor for the whole family! Click here to purchase your tickets online. Tickets are also available in the parish office.
  4. In partnership with Silviano Carrillo Centers, we will provide Citizenship Classes on Wednesdays, beginning February 23 to May 4th, in Parish Rm #125 at 6:30 p.m. These classes will prepare you for the questions and interview you will have to become a citizen. The group also provides legal help in conjunction with Catholic Charities. For more information, please call (619) 721-0600 or email at: sccenters@usasjs.org. The classes and legal counsel are free. Tell others about this opportunity!
  5. If you are not comfortable sitting inside Serra Center for Sunday Masses at 8 am, 10 am, 12 noon and 3 pm, we recommend that you bring a chair to sit outside. Speakers project sound into the garden and Eucharistic ministers will go outside to distribute communion.
  6. Did you know our pantry serves the community with food and diapers for all ages? Right now, we really need adult diapers (Depends) for men and women in all sizes. Many seniors depend on us for food and the basics, like diapers. Can you help us when you shop on Amazon this week? Just drop by or ship the DEPENDS to the Social Outreach pantry at 4070 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA. 92057. We greatly appreciate your donations for our Social Outreach Food Pantry. Click here for a link to donate.
  7. Saturday reconciliation has been canceled until further notice. Appointments are possible by calling the Parish Office at 760-757-3250.
