For Saturday, August 24th, 2024, celebrate with us the Feast of St. Louis IX, King of France, with the following festivities:

• 3:00 p.m. Food Sales and Entertainment begin in Serra Gardens, starting with the Luiseño Drums.
• 3:45 p.m. Mission San Luis Rey Youth Ballet Folklorico performs.
• 4:25 p.m. Introducing our Patron Saint, King Louis of France.
• 4:30 p.m. Samoan Dancers
• 5:00 p.m. Danza Azteca will offer traditional dances dating back thousands of years to the Mesoamérican ceremonies of Mexico and Central America.
• 5:40 p.m Hospitality Ministry announces Opportunity Winners.
• 5:50 p.m. Canastas Dance, Baile de las Canastas will share a dance of honor to San Luis Rey.
• 6:30 p.m. Intercultural Mass of the Feast and Installation of our new Pastor, Fr. Lalo Jaro, OFM, in the Parish Church (click for live-stream). At this mass, we will welcome Bishop Felipe Pulicio.
• After mass, we will have our traditional Procession of the Saint and Fireworks at the Old Mission Church. Please bring a chair and join us in the celebration!
