The official logo of the 2025 Jubilee Year shows four colorful pilgrims, who symbolize all of humanity coming from all directions on their shared journey to Christ.
As they embrace each other in unity, the figure in front grasps the cross, which is the sign of our hope that united with Jesus, we will also move through our death to new life.
The elongated cross also changes at its base into an anchor, an ancient sign of hope because sailors used the anchor to stabilize ships during storms.
The challenges of our daily lives and the events of the wider world are symbolized by the rough waves beneath the pilgrims. During our trials and sufferings, hope keeps us focused on the goal of our pilgrimage, which is to draw ever closer to encountering the Risen Christ.
