Our 2nd reading for the next few weeks is from Paul’s Letter to Timothy, which is classified as one of his Pastoral letters. In this passage, Paul notes how the foremost of sinners become the foremost example of the mercy of Jesus Christ. Today’s gospel presents the Prodigal Son story which is wonderfully recounted by Fr. Henri Nouwen on an audio disc and a hardcopy book. These resources provide much spiritual insight into this beautiful gospel passage for all to benefit from.
