Synod Parish Survey Results
Parish Synod Survey Results: One of the most interesting outcomes was that overwhelmingly the participants found these dialogues spiritually and pastorally very nourishing. The positivity of the experience was remarkable because the notes taken in these small groups reveal that participants shared significantly different viewpoints on the major issues they were discussing. This prayerfulness and respect for the dialogue constituted a glimpse of what a synodal culture might be.

Creation Care Workshop
Introductory Creation Care Workshop: All parishioners are invited to attend. The workshop will be on Monday, February 6, 6-8 p.m., at the Diocesan Pastoral Center (3888 Paducah Drive, San Diego, 92117) and is designed to give participants a working scientific knowledge of climate and environmental issues of concern, provide a summary of Catholic teaching on creation care, and present an overview of our diocesan programming, environmental action pathways, and available support.

In a desire to respond to the needs presented in the Parish Synod report, we are offering an exciting year-long experience, Forming Missionary Disciples, which will include scripture studies, Catholic social teachings, and retreats. Fr. Oscar is planning a Pilgrimage to Mexico! This 7-day pilgrimage will include various cities such as Guadalajara, Queretaro, and Mexico City. See the bulletin for more information.
Thank You, From Social Outreach
This weekend at the 4 pm Saturday, 8, 10 and 12 noon Masses, our Social Outreach department would like to say thank you for the donations and support during the holidays, as well as during the entire year. Our Loretto House Food Pantry continues to aid many families and people in need in our community. Please stop by for donuts and coffee.

Announcements 12-11-2022
We invite you to join us, this Monday the 12th, for the Mañanitas, traditional singing in Spanish to Our Lady of Guadalupe. They will begin at 4:00 a.m. and be followed by Mass (also in Spanish) at 6:00 a.m. in the Serra Center. We will also have the 8 a.m. English Mass as usual in the Parish Chapel. –Read more —
