Reflections on the weekly gospel from our Pastor.

Who Do You Say I Am?

Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do people say I am?” They answered, “Some say you are John the Baptist, others Elijah or Jeremiah”. He then asked them, but who do YOU say I am? And Peter tells him he is the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Celebrate This Weekend!

We have two celebrations and two fun-raisers this weekend! First, on Saturday 8/26/23, we celebrate our Patron Saint, San Luis Rey. Jesus Opens Our Horizons

From Our Associate Pastor I have always had a great fascination with superheroes, Saints, and all those who do extraordinary things. See God In Action

Camp only lasted 5 days, but those moments will stay with us forever. Our Core Team learned many leadership skills and discovered that God is calling them to be light for this world. They also found out that Fr. Sal is a great dancer!

Happy 4th of July! As we celebrate this day, let us remember that we would not gain or sustain independence without the sacrifice and hard work of our military service members. Therefore, this week I’d like to use a reflection that Father Steve Kuehn, OFM wrote for Veteran’s Day. I wanted to also inform you Read More
